What has been your proudest moment as a creator so far?
Opening up about my infertility journey online. It was both terrifying and freeing, but I knew so many women needed to see someone share that experience while also offering hope for their own journey.
What’s one thing your followers would be surprised to learn about you?
I was enrolled in modeling school as a kid by my mom and completely fell in love with it!
If you could change one thing about the influencer/creator space, what would it be?
I would remove metrics as a measure of success. It often feels like a judgment on the value of one’s content, which can hinder creativity and keep so many from sharing their voice.
What role do collaborations or partnerships play in your success, and how do you choose who to work with?
Collaborations play a huge role in my journey! They open doors to amazing opportunities. I love working with brands I genuinely love, use, and believe will benefit both me and my audience.
Looking back, what has been the best investment (time, resources, etc.) you’ve made for your creator career?
Time! I’ve been creating content long before the 2020 boom of the creator industry. I’ve always loved sharing my journey, inspiring others, and making sure no one feels like they’re walking alone.
Can you share a bit about your journey as a creator? How did you get started, and what was your first breakthrough moment?
I started in college back in 2013 when my hairstyles were being featured on blogs (I did my own hair!). Fast forward to 2020, I joined the Sephora Squad, which led to incredible opportunities, brand collaborations, and connections that I still cherish today.
